Who are we ?

Our team of sales staff and supporters are ready to help you with all your restoration needs.

Chuck

Chuck - started the business nearly 20 years ago from his suitcase, bringing parts back from the States for friends and then out of the ‘trunk' of his MkII Cortina - doing swapmeets and delivering parts. Member of the American Muscle Car Club for 15 years - drives a '68 Camaro and 1956 Chev Station Wagon. Loves Chevs with a passion and loves to help customers with his vast knowledge of the Classic Chevs.

 

Darrell

Darrell - has been involved with Chev's virtually all his life and has a vast knowledge of all models and all years. As a Chevrolet owner himself he generally has the answer for all the problems which can arise during the restoration process. Darrell is the ‘Guru' - our most experienced member of the sales team and has been with Chucks since 2004.

 

Bob

Bob - a more recent ‘convert' to Chevrolet and he's doing a great job, especially in the vast area of Camaro models, 1967 thru' to the 70's and 80's Camaro's.

A busy family man with a customer service manner second to none. He really enjoys seeing his customers vehicles when they're on the road and able to be driven out to see us here in Swanson.

 

Sue

Sue is our most recent addition to the sales team. Sue comes to us with a great deal of experience in motor vehicle parts sales and is currently learning her way around Chevrolet restoration parts. Always has a ‘can-do' and is learning fast.

Loves the Hot Rod scene and has been involved in Hot Rodding in the Manawatu/Wairarapa regions for many years. Previous cars include a 49 Mercury called the Purple Pussy Eater, a 64 Mustang Notchback and currently driving a 71 XY Falcon.

Currently has her training wheels on as she learns to be a ‘Jaffa"

 

Bruce

Bruce is our Warehouse Manager extraordinaire.

Managing our warehouse, despatching orders, working on cars and generally tackling everything that is going on in the warehouse, all the staff at Chucks depend on his management skills and ability to turn his hand to anything as he supports Chuck and the sales team and gets the orders out the door and much, much more.

Bruce is a whizz at ‘tinkering' with cars and on the computer and we are fortunate to have these skills as he keeps our website up-dated and gets many of the vehicles which pass through our warehouse ‘on the road again'.

A Mopar man at heart, we don't hold that against him. In fact Chucks Restoration Supplies sell some Mopar parts and we are looking to help more customers with obtaining Mopar parts.

 

Judy

Jude - Has been managing the office and accounts for Chucks since 1995 and loves the job and meeting customers.

Enjoys checking out the customers Chevs when they roll in the gate, especially if they're ‘shiny'.

Drives a Chrysler 2000 PT Cruiser but one day would like to own a 1961 Impala, but has to be ‘shiny'.

 

Liza

Liza - is our Freight & Importing Administrator and has returned to us after becomming a mother to Chay. Managing and administering the documentation for our containers from the States, she has her finger on the pulse of what is in the containers, both vehicles and boxes for our freight customers.

‘Finger on the pulse' at Chucks and ‘kept on her toes' at home with her 2 year old.
